About Us
Established in 2019, Lab Access is a licensed basic diagnostic centre made up of a team of medical laboratory scientists with in-depth expertise and experience in medical laboratory testing.
We provide walk-in and mobile laboratory services, medical screening services, pre-employment screening, pre-marital screening, nanny screening, sexually transmitted infections screening and other wellness packages.
We provide accurate and reliable testing with efficient turn-around time to enable informed medical decisions and better patient outcome.

When I first envisioned starting Lab Access, my mission was simple yet profound; to help people get easy access to laboratory services — people with chronic medical conditions, bedridden individuals, the aged and anyone that needed tests done in a convenient way.
The idea was to bring laboratory services to their doorsteps. Today, I’m incredibly proud to see that vision brought to life.
The reality is that approximately 70% of all medical decisions depend directly on laboratory results. This makes rigorous, accurate and timely data non-negotiable.
Our work goes far beyond processing samples in test tubes and looking at slides. Every single tube, every sample and every result represents a human being.
Behind every piece of data is a mother, a father, a child or a friend waiting for answers and a path to wellness. That human element is the heartbeat of our operations.

Common questions
Do I need to fast before my test?
It depends on the test. Fasting blood sugar and lipid profiles require 8–12 hours of fasting. Most other tests do not. We will confirm when you book.
How soon will I receive my results?
Most routine tests return the same day. Cultures take 4–5 days. We send results via the BetterHealth app or you can pick them up from our office.
Do you offer home sample collection?
Yes. Our phlebotomists collect samples at your home or office in Accra and Tema. Book at least 24 hours ahead.
Can you handle corporate health screening?
Yes. We run on-site and off-site screening programmes for companies of all sizes. We structure reports for HR compliance and provide bulk pricing.
